Lisette Perez, Legal Assistant

Lisette is a true native, born and raised in the Glendale/Pasadena area. She attended Pasadena High School and Pasadena City College.

Her work experience has included clerical positions in the customer service and accounts payable departments of a prosthetics manufacturing company in Pasadena.

Since December of 2003, Lisette has been Frederick James Nameth's legal assistant. Her duties include answering the phones, greeting new clients and helping them sign all the necessary paperwork, opening all new files and assisting Office Manager Alejandra Mercado.

On a personal note, Lisette has one daughter, 3-year-old Briana. Lisette's hobbies include reading, spending time outdoors and, most important, spending time with her daughter. She also enjoys participating in the activities of her church.

When asked what she finds most satisfying about working for Frederick James Nameth, she replies, "I enjoy the friendly work environment and dealing with the clients."

Her goal is to return to school and get her degree in Criminal Justice.

Alejandra Mercado, Office Manager

Alejandra Mercado was born in Mexico City, Mexico and immigrated to the United States in 1981. She completed her high school education in Mexico City and then attended Pasadena City College, studying ESL and Legal Assisting.

Mrs. Mercado (known as Alex) has been working for Frederick James Nameth since early 1984. Her duties as Office Manager include assisting Mr. Nameth with the procedure of the non litigation files, resolving issues with insurance adjusters, body shops and doctors; interviewing the Spanish-speaking clients and translating documents. In addition, she keeps the office running smoothly by coordinating the staff members' vacation, scheduling appointments and ordering office supplies.

On a personal one, Alex has been married to husband Jose for 20 years and has two daughters.

Her hobbies include home decorating, doing arts and crafts, shopping and watching television.

When asked what she finds most satisfying about working for Frederick James Nameth, she replies, "I enjoy the friendly environment, the good communication I have with Fred and helping our clients through the process of their claims."

Her goal is to see her children graduate from college and when the time comes, retire in a small town in Mexico and travel with her husband to different countries.
